我不辭。
請君歌，
歌莫遲。
歌聲長，
辭亦切。
此辭聽者堪愁絕，
洛陽女兒面似花，
河南大尹頭如雪。

You offer me wine, I don't say no,
but beg you to sing, don't let the song be tardy.
The notes of the song are long and the words are biting;
those who hear these words－can they bear such sorrow?
Girls and boys of Lo-yang have flowery faces,
but the magistrate of Ho-nan－his head is like snow.
